Musician Fletcher Valentine and I recently made a music video for his song "Blue Divide" where he dreams up, builds and plays a homemade guitar. Fletcher Valentine is a solo musician who produces and releases his music independently which is where the main idea/storyline of the video originated from. Fletcher starts off obsessing about guitars and brainstorming which is followed by the purchasing of equipment and construction of his own "Flying V" guitar which he plays during the finale of the song. We wanted to push the home-made feel of the video by overlaying the visuals of Fletcher building his guitar with rough and simple animations.
